| dc.description.abstract | High turnover rates clearly affect both the production of organizations, in addition to their negative impact on employee morale, which means a clear delay in carrying out projects and a decrease in the productivity of these organizations. The aim of this study is to explore the effects of workforce diversity on employee turnover intention at the banking sector in West bank. and determine if the organizational culture mediates the effect of workforce diversity on employee turnover intention, to achieve this, the researcher adopted the three variables (workforce diversity as an independent variable, while turnover intention as the dependent variable, also organizational culture as a moderator variable). This study aims to explore the effects of workforce diversity on employee turnover intention in the banking sector in the West Bank, it also aims to ascertain whether organizational culture mediates the impact of workforce diversity on employee turnover intention, to make sure of this, the researcher used three types of variables, which are as follows (the diversity of the workforce was used as an independent factor, while the turnover intention was used as a dependent variable, and organizational culture was used as a mediating variable). Six banks at the west bank were included in this study, these are (Arab Islamic bank, Palestinian Islamic bank, Al- safa bank, the national bank, al-Quds bank, and the Palestinian investment bank). To answer the research hypothesis structural equation modeling (SEM) was used, were the study population being (2537) covering all employees regardless of their gender, researcher throughout a letter of support from AAUP president, had distributed 350 questionnaires to employees working in the banks listed in Palestinian exchange at West Bank that covered the study sample, the data was analyzed through the PLS-SEM software package, taking into account the objectives and questions that were set for this study, and verifying this through the results. VI researcher found that workforce diversity (Gender, Age, Education, Experience) effects on turnover intention at banking sector in West Bank, in addition the significant positive direct of workforce diversity on organizational culture, and the researcher find that there is an effect of mediation variable (Organizational culture) in the relation between workforce diversity and employee turnover intention in banking - West Bank. Finally, the researcher recommends to increase the workforce diversity, and he suggests to increase the percentage of women in workforce, addition to recommend to employee undergraduate to decrease the turnover intention at the sector banking in west bank. | en_US |
