Abstract: Several years ago, most governmental hospitals in Palestine began using the high-cost Turkish health information system (Avicenna) to simulate technological development in developing countries. However, some governmental hospitals still have not gotten this system for several reasons, which may be technical, operational or others. Accordingly, the researcher intends to discover the importance of using HIS (Avicenna). Accurately, the researcher studied the extent to which the HIS quality (system quality, safety quality, information quality, service quality, and performance quality) impacts healthcare. The research was based on the descriptive-analytical approach. A special questionnaire was developed and designed to measure the research variables. The questionnaire was distributed among the study sample of (274) health workers, and (256) questionnaires were received from different departments in governmental hospitals in the northern West Bank "Rafidia governmental hospital and Jenin governmental hospital". The method of sampling was stratified random sample. The results showed that HIS's quality had a statistically significant positive impact on healthcare at a level of 0.05. Also, there were no significant statistical differences at level (α = 0.05) about the HIS quality impact on the respondents in their perception of healthcare due to gender, education level, age, current job, and the number of years in using the system. There were significant statistical differences at level (α = 0.05) about impact of the HIS quality impact on the respondents in their perception of healthcare due to the workplace. This study showed a need to implement the HIS in hospitals because of its positive impact on healthcare and that there is a need to raise awareness about the benefits of the HIS.
