Abstract: | This study aimed to identify the level of emotional intelligence with its dimensions combined (Self-awareness, Motivation, Empathy) in reducing work pressure with its dimensions (Role ambiguity, Role conflict, Work environment) for public relations managers in Palestinian government institutions from the employees' point of view. The study relied on the descriptive approach by collecting quantitative data, to obtain information related to the subject of the study, and the study population consisted of employees of the second category, the fifth degree and above, in the Palestinian governmental institutions, numbering (7) institutions, and employing (1325) employees, As for the study sample, an exploratory sample consisting of (30) male and female employees, from the second category employees, the fifth degree and above, was selected in the Palestinian governmental institutions, in order to ensure the validity of the study tool and its use to calculate validity and reliability, Then, the sample of the study was selected according to several stages. In the first stage, the sample was chosen by the cluster random method, and the researcher chose Seven clusters from the total number of 60 Palestinian governmental institutions, In the second stage, the researcher chose a representative sample according to the institution that was chosen, by the stratified random method, depending on the institution’s class, and the size of the impotence was determined based on Robert Mason’s equation. The study concluded with several results, the most important of which was the existence of an effect of emotional intelligence with its combined dimensions (self-awareness, motivation, empathy) on work pressure with its dimensions (role ambiguity, role conflict, work environment, employee productivity) in government institutions in 85 Palestine. The results indicated that there is an effect Emotional intelligence in all its dimensions(Self-awareness, motivation, empathy) dimension (self-awareness, empathy) in the dimension (role ambiguity) in Palestinian governmental institutions. |
