Abstract: This thesis aims to determine the strategic effects of the Israeli colonial settlements and land use on the environment in the Palestinian land, and the relationship of this impact on the social and economic life of the Palestinians based on different political scenarios. The most important component of the Palestinian environment damage occurred by land confiscation, water pollution, environment depletion by wastewater and industrial waste, construction of bypass roads, and finally Israeli quarries. This study is based on a comprehensive analytical approach to address significant data and indicators which will be classified and analyzed by tools of PESTEL and Cross Matrix Analysis to determine the most probable political future scenario due to Israeli colonial settlement in Palestine, analyze the influential and affected Political, Economic and Social factors in formulating the scenarios. The assumption of the most probable scenario was considered, and the relation of the most influential and affected factors with the impact of colonial settlement on the environment in Palestine was analyzed. The results concluded, mainly, that Israeli colonial settlement is not a random process, it has strategic goals summarized as, controlling all the Palestinian Land and the natural resources, fragmenting the Palestinian presence, and the abolition possibility of the establishment of a Palestinian state, transforming the West Bank into a consumer market for Israeli and colonial settlements goods, forcing the Palestinian to voluntary migration by stealing their lands, polluting their environment, depleting their natural resources and losing their livelihoods. The study provided recommendations to policymakers to avoid the dangerous damage to the Palestinian environment caused by Israeli colonial settlements and land use and prevent the new generation from the impact of this damage and its impact on their economic and social lives. Mainly recommendations concentrated on the Integration of popular and official efforts to face the colonial settlements within comprehensive plans aimed at empowering the Palestinian farmers and providing livelihoods so they are not forced to leave their land.
