Abstract: International law explicitly criminalizes genocide through the Rome Statute, in addition to the elaboration of a convention on the prevention and criminalization of the crime of genocide in rights conventions, in addition to the fact that the commission of this crime constitutes a violation of international instruments and treaties such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and others. ،This crime consists of a physical and moral component, where the material component is based on several elements mentioned in the Genocide Convention, namely the killing of members of the group, the total or partial destruction, the subjection of the group to difficult living conditions, the use of materials or weapons leading to incidents of infertility, or the taking of children from the group's position in another group's intention to destroy the group to its detriment. This intention can be established by statements by the perpetrator indicating the intention to commit this crime. crime," the international community had been alerted to the seriousness of the crime and had established the International Criminal Court to try and hold accountable anyone who committed the crime of extermination.
