Abstract: | This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the current status of IPv6 deployment globally. It highlights the progress made in the adoption of IPv6 and the challenges that still need to be addressed. Moreover, it recommends further investigations in areas where the industry’s approach towards transitioning to IPv6 is not yet clear and unified. This paper emphasises the importance of continued efforts to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to IPv6 to facilitate the growth and innovation of the digital world. |
